Evelyn attended 66th St. Elementary, Bethune Middle, and Fremont High School and will attend UCLA, majoring in Biology to become a general surgeon. She thanks Ms. Gossard, Counselor, “because of all her hard work” and her mother and father “for striving to give me a better education and understanding when I have been under a lot of pressure and stress.” Vanessa attended South Park Elementary, Drew Middle, and Fremont High School and will attend CSU, LA to become a Registered Nurse and plans to give back to her community. She is thankful for her parents who work “in order for me to have a better future.”

Their neighborhood was in poor health. These amazing teens changed that.
