Life Skills (Period 1) Assignments

2 - 5 page Ethnicity report. See handout (downloaded) on what to include in your report.

Construct a Family Tree based you, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, great-great-grandparents, & great-greatgreat-grandparents. This is six generations (if you can get back that far.)

Information that should be included:
1) Name
2) Date of Birth
3) Where they were born or lived most of their lives
4) photocopy of picture (if possible) (Try not to use the real photo especially if you want to
get it back and not have if damaged)

Write a 2 1/2 - 5 page paper that is a Family Autobiography. Talk about the 8 parts (Family, Extended Family, Language, Everyday foods, Holiday foods, Holidays celebrated, Family parties, Traditions - raise your children like the way your parents raised you?)

1) Write a paragraph describing your family based on your notes on handout sheet. It can be downloaded if you don't have it.

2) Using the handout 6 Important Qualities of a Strong Family Write who takes care of each and give examples.
