APUSH (Period 3) Assignments

1. Review for the Presidents' again. I will mix up the time periods so be aware of that. Be sure to focus on the key events/documents and political parties. You will tested on everything through the progressive era.

 

2. Unit 9 is now posted. This is to help you not fall behind on your work load. 

I will post up your work tomorrow. Be ready.

Final Exam

 

Memorize the order of every president including the day and year of his presidency from start to the finish. Included is his political party and explain 3 important items during his presidency.

If you desire to due a test correction make-up. It is due monday at lunch and you will have to come in to grade it during lunch.

Specific terms quiz 

I am giving an extra credit assignment only to those who have completed all of their work. Make a list of every president in order that we have covered, Be sure to include the date when they served in office. List 3 significant events in their presidency explaining the events and their importance to that time period. The events can be just related to the time and not necessarily due to the president himself.

 

Be sure to check the APUSH page on this website for all late homework. It will be due the week you return along with your signed letter.

Complete the Essential Questions on a separate sheet of paper. You do not need to write the question but you do need to number them.

60 total terms will need to be memorized. Please be advised that this is the test day and so it is advisable to know all of them buy I will only hold you accountable for 60 words.

You will need to SQ3R chapters 4 and 5. Create and answer your own questions. 15 questions per chapter is a good start.

Have 25 notecards memorized concerning the list of terms I gave you. I suggest that you begin with the Specific Terms as they are mandatory.

 

Another 35 terms will be due the following week from the Specific Terms and any additional terms you would like to add from the terms list. The Notecards will be spot checked for completion.
