Memoir One of my memories of being a Pathfinder was in 2005. I graduated in "06" but the real soccer squad was in "05". This Soccer squAd in "05" was the best one in the history of John C. Fremont, it was the Championship game against South Gate High, we lost 2-1.It was March 3, 2005, We had them, it was 1-1, 24 seconds left for Penalty Kicks, some guy comes from 36 yards and he shoots it; so Ramiro Vargas# 15(defender) let's it go thinking our goalie Edwin Hernandez Aka. Niteout #1 (kepper) will get it but it was too far from Edwin he was standing, but everyone was in the box trying not to let him shoot. And the guy scores seconds away from the Penaltys. We had the best players like Gelder Contreras#9(Center Mid) Michael Ibarra#8 (top Scorer Forward) Raul GoVea #10 (Forward) Geovani Arriaga#5 (Defender) Jose Camacho#19 (Mid) John Chavez#17(Mid) Juan Guiterrez # (Defender) Fernando Calvillo #4 (defender) Roberto Alegre#7 (Mid) and the guy that kept team Motivated and had school Spirit to Death Renato Arias #2 Aka Minie (Defender) Marlon palencia#14 (Forward) Always kept the team Laughing! and the best coaches that Fremont had over the years Roberto Gonzales & Erick Aka Mofles!! This was the team that I will never forget, I'm sorry if I didn't put your name up here if you were in the squad, but this are some other players that contribute to get us in the final; Marvelio Villatorro, Diego Figueroa, Edwin George, Arley Padilla, Ivan ochoa, Carlos (2nd Kepper) Whos house; Fremont, Who's Fremont, Who's house : FREMONT, these was the words that we said before and After of each game, thanks to Mofles we have alumni games Everyear and Carne asada! It's around November ! Just to keep us united!
