Hard works pays off. Our team was the first High School in LAUSD to hit our 100% ADA for the calendar year therefore we reached 50% for the academic year in our attendance. Everyone played a big role in reaching our goal. Good quality programs keeps our students engaged in active learning.
Congratulations to our students that attended our college tour to LMU. Many of our students expressed gratitued for giving them the opportunity to tour a private university. It was a new experience, many students don’t get a change to view what a college campus looks like. They were able to speak to college students and professors. They got a lot of information on requirements and important due dates for enrollment. I’m glad we are able to expose our students to universities.
Leadership students were able to get together a thanksgiving basket which included a gift card for a turkey at Smart & Final and some groceries for a good thanksgiving dinner. We raffled the basket and a family with a Thanksgiving Dinner.
We had a great turn out of parents and students for Parent Conference Night. We had our table set up in front of the breeze way. Parents were able to get information from leadership on the different programs ARC provides for students. We were able to enroll more students into our programs. Many parents were happy to hear that Fremont had an after school Program.
We had a pep rally after school inside the basketball gym. All of our programs, small learning communities, programs, clubs, and teams attended to motivate others to join ARC. It was good to see everyone come as One Fremont to celebrate the accomplishments. Events like these really motivate students.
